Bandit is waiting for you at Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter in Santa Cruz, CA 95062. Meet Bandit, the gray tabby and white kitten. Bandit arrived to the Shelter after a good Samaritan found him as a stray who was sick. Unable to continue caring for him long term, the good Samaritan brought Bandit to the Shelter for his safety. Upon arrival at the Shelter, medical staff began monitoring Bandit for an upper respiratory infection (aka a kitty cold!). With some medication and monitoring, Bandit made improvement and has started to perk up. Bandit’s kitten self is starting to show now that he is feeling better – soliciting play from staff and volunteers. Bandit is looking for an indoor only home to thrive in. A home with other animals may be a fit with a slow, thoughtful introduction. Bandit is available for preadoption. Come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery.Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
