Bucky* is waiting for you at Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter in Santa Cruz, CA 95062. Meet Steven & Bucky – two 10 week old male kittens. This duo was found as strays in Watsonville. They have been social sweethearts since their arrival – often coming up to the front of the kennel to soak up TLC from staff and volunteers. Steven & Bucky would be a great pair for someone looking to adopt two but they are not required to be adopted together. They are looking for safe, indoor homes to grow up in. A home with other animals may be appropriate with a slow, thoughtful introduction. Steven & Bucky are available for pre-adoption. Come meet them, fall in love and take them home after their neuter surgeries. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
