Cinna Swirl* is waiting for you at Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter in Santa Cruz, CA 95062. Meet Cinna Swirl – the brown tabby kitten! Cinna Swirl came to the Shelter as a stray so we don’t know about her life before the Shelter. Since he arrival, staff have observed that she is social and easy to interact with. Cinna Swirl may do well in a home with other animals provided there is a slow, thoughtful introduction. Although Cinna Swirl arrived to the Shelter after being outdoors, an indoor only home would be safest for her moving forward. Supervised time outside such as being walked on a kitty harness and leash or a catio set up may be a great middle ground to provide enrichment. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
