Echo* is waiting for you at Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter in Santa Cruz, CA 95062. Echo is a sweet purr machine, he was ready to accept pets and attention from staff and volunteers right away. Echo is looking for a home where he can stay indoors and safe. Echo would likely fit into any household he's sociable and confident. While we don't have history with other cats or dogs, a slow introduction would help this kitten fit right in. Echo is available to meet and preadopt, and he can go home after his neuter surgery. All black cats get a $20 discount from our Black Cat Fund. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
