Pickle is waiting for you at Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter in Santa Cruz, CA 95062. Meet Pickle, the senior gray tabby and white male cat! Pickle came to the Shelter after the previous guardian was unable to continue caring for him due to a newborn being allergic to kitties. Pickle’s favorite activity in his previous home was being pet by humans, running and looking out the window. If you’re a fan of Golden Corral – Pickles is your guy as he prefers his food in an “unlimited buffet style” of feeding. He has history living with other cats and may enjoy a home with a feline friend provided there is a slow, thoughtful introduction. Pickle’s adoption fee is sponsored by the the Silver Whisker's fund - a fund that is usually reserved for senior pets.Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
