Sam* is waiting for you at Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter in Santa Cruz, CA 95062. Meet the Supernatural kittens! Sam is the runt of the litter! When the supernatural kittens arrived in foster, they were hissy and spitty. With time and patience, the foster reports that they have turned into snuggle bugs. Sam's foster describes him as `the timid guy that likes cuddles, play, and pets (with a bit of encouragement).` In regards to the whole litter: `Casiel and Crowley are the more or less the leaders of the pride. They're typically the first to explore. Sam and Dean tend to stick to their safe space a little bit longer. Especially Sam. They lean towards following the lead of their peers. Everyone confidence is growing with each day and new experience. Pairing one from each group would make a good balance. Crowley and Dean, Sam and Castiel, seem to have a slight lean towards each other.`Sam is looking for a safe, indoor only home to thrive in. A home with other animals may be a fit provided there is a slow, thoughtful introduction. Sam is available for pre-adoption. Come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
