Susie* is waiting for you at Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter in Santa Cruz, CA 95062. Susie is a goofy, playful gal! She came to us with her mama for about 6 weeks of fostering. During that time, Susie grew into the fun girl she is! She uses her litterbox like a champ and loves toys of any kind - especially wand toys. One of her favorite things to do is to race up and down the cat tree I have in our foster room. She would be a great sidekick!Kaia is available for pre-adoption. Come meet her, fall in love and take her home after her spay surgery. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
