This 17 year old gal came to the Shelter after her previous guardian did not have the resources to continue caring for her. Violet’s favorite activity in her previous home was sleeping. She also enjoys fish-style treats and feather-style toys. Violet does not have any history living with other animals. She also was indoors-only in her previous home. Violet is looking for a retirement home to spend her golden years in – could that be with you? Violet's adoption fee is sponsored by the Silver Whiskers Society - a fund aiming to help get often overlooked senior cats out of the shelter!Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
