After getting to know you in the first few days, he is extremely relaxed while simultaneously being very inquisitive and playful. He mostly sleeps during the day, coming out a few times to play or eat. He likes to sleep in dark rooms if there is a comfy place, but will sleep in the open if there is no bed in a dark corner for him. His inquisitive nature means he will try to get into any nook and cranny that he can – on top of cabinets and tall furniture. If he can find a way to get there, he will. Does the cat enjoy being pet? He does, but at the beginning you will need to wait for him to ask to be pet. And when he does, he can also decide rather abruptly that he doesn’t want to be pet and will bite or swat, so it is best to be aware of his behaviors while you are touching him. As he gets more used to you and you to him, he will relax more and the only time you really need to be cautious is when he’s stimulated/playing.
