About Sora (Domestic short hair) in Tampa

Sora is waiting for you at Rebels Rescue Inc. in Tampa, FL 33611. Hi! My name is Sora, and it means sky in Japanese. I do have a stage 2 heart murmur, but it doesn't stop me from enjoying life and playing with the other cats and dog in my foster home. I am still working on building trust with humans, though. The reason for my lack of trust is that I was found in a manufacturing facility shortly after I gave birth to my litter of kittens. My foster mom took us in, and I have been working on trusting humans since. While I have gotten better at trusting humans, I am a work in progress. My furever home will need to be understanding and take their time in getting to know me. While I will let you pick me up without biting or scratching you, you will need to corner me or sneak up on me in order to do so. I have no interest in going outside. So a barn cat life isn't really the life for me. I love living indoors and interacting with the other animals in my home. I also enjoy watching my foster mom and dad do people things inside the house. I have recently gotten brave enough to brush against my foster mom's leg while I walk past her.
