Valentino is waiting for you at Rebels Rescue Inc. in Tampa, FL 33611. Valentino came to us on Valentine's Day, hence his name! He was found in a parking lot and hopped right into his finder's car, showing his affection and love for human companionship right from the start. Valentino will follow you around, sit patiently in your lap, and meow at you for attention. He has a very delicate, soft voice that is irresistible!! Valentino is a fun mix of both loving and rough & rowdy. He loves to play with string toys and will show off his acrobatics with back flips and giant leaps into the air. We recommend playing with him with interactive toys and not hands, as he can get a bit rough. We suspect this is because he grew up as a singleton without another kitty to teach him a more gentle play style. He can get quite rambunctious when playing, but listens well to corrections and will learn quickly with a little time and patience. He is definitely the perfect fit for a busy household where he can get lots of love, attention and play time. He gets a little grumpy when he begs for attention and doesn't receive it, but can you blame him?! He really, really just wants to be loved and will reach out and put his paws over your shoulder and his face against yours like a big, kitty hug! Valentino gets along with everyone--cats, kids, adults and dogs! He can get a bit overstimulated when introduced to new friends, so we recommend slow introductions! But once he knows the new friend isn't a threat, he'll escalate the friendship to best friend status in no time! His love can be a little overwhelming for other pets in the household who appreciate boundaries, but he does listen and try his best to respect those boundaries, he just can't help himself sometimes. Valentino is an outgoing guy with a large personality who lets his feelings shine.
