Gianna is waiting for you at Trenton Cats Rescue in Trenton, NJ 08618. Gianna is patiently hanging out with her foster family while she waits for her forever home. She loves to doze in the cat hammocks in her foster home, to watch the wildlife outside the screened porch, to play, and to eat. She is an excellent tail chaser (she has a long tail) and frequently bats small toys and balls around the house. Gianna was taken into foster on Valentine's Day of this year in an advanced state of pregnancy and with labored breathing due, as it turned out, to a diaphragmatic hernia that allowed her intestines into her chest, where they pressed on her lungs. On April 6th, when her babies (all adopted in May) were almost 6 weeks old, Gianna underwent surgery to repair the hernia at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center in NYC. Her surgery and recovery went perfectly and created a new cat. Gianna became an active cat with wild-n-crazy moments throughout the day. She loves her mom and likes her dad but would be happier if there were fewer kitties in her home. She has found her place among the many kitties in her foster home but would not be sad to be a single cat.
