A good cat tree isn't just furniture to me - it's my confidence builder, my safe space, my observation deck. You know what else helps? FOOD. When the food bowl comes out, suddenly my shyness takes a back seat. Food means good things. Food means someone cares. Food means... okay, I'm coming a little closer now because that smells REALLY good. I have a best friend named Ethan, and he's braver than me. When I see him trust you, it helps ME trust you too.
