Matilda is waiting for you at Cat Tales Rescue in Vacaville, CA 95696. Matilda was abandoned by her first "family" and left to fend for herself in an area with established feral cats who are NOT welcoming of others. She was bullied, which put her on the defensive. She is currently being housed in a cat-friendly home, but we're taking it slow, introducing her to new feline friends since she had a traumatic experience with others. She LOVES people. Whether it's lying in a bed or a cat tower near your desk as you work from home, or watching TV/playing a video game, she loves to be near. She is a very communicative girl and will often purr upon seeing you, chirp and do little meows when you talk to her as well as when she wants your attention. She also LOVES food - dry and wet. Since she is medium-haired, it's important to ensure her diet has adequate fiber and moisture to minimize hairballs. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, combo tested negative for FIV and FELV, and has received her rabies and FVRCP vaccines.
