What the Shelter Says About Me: Ernie is an unusual boy with a bob tail and a spotted front right arm. We think his bob tail is natural since his brother (Ely) also has a shorter tail. When Ernie first came into our rescue's care, he was standoffish to strangers and lept off our photo table. We thought he was more shy than his two siblings but given a few weeks to warm up, Earnie became the condo doorman - greeting us and inviting petting. (There is a sibling like that in every family, right, a little slower to dive in and more studious about situations.)
