I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self. What My Foster Says About Me: Penny was found as a stray in one of our fosters' neighborhoods in northern Virginia. After asking around, her now foster learned that she and her kittens had been taken in. Penny was spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and her babies were adopted, but she was released back to her "home" -- a neighborhood near a busy road. Penny is certainly a Lucky Cat because she ran into a LDAR foster on a walk who instantly knew she was way too friendly and sweet to live on the streets of Falls Church -- you can see one of the photos of her outside approaching a neighbor. Her foster mom begged Lucky Dog Animal Rescue to put Penny up for adoption, and because she is lucky, they agreed to help! Her foster mom's neighbors helped catch Penny a few days later, she passed her medical exams with flying colors, and the rest is history.Penny is now adjusting quickly to the life of an indoor cat -- she much prefers having cozy beds, air conditioning, and 24/7 access to food and water to being outside. She is an exceptionally friendly cat who is willing to rub up against any human walking by -- it's how she got food from the whole neighborhood when she was still a stray.
