From the moment you meet Betty, she’s eager to say hello—trotting right up for pets, attention, and maybe a little playtime too. Her friendly, outgoing personality makes her an instant companion, and she loves being part of the action in her home. Playful and energetic, Betty enjoys chasing toys, exploring her surroundings, and turning everyday moments into fun little adventures. When she’s all tuckered out, she’s more than happy to curl up nearby, soaking in affection and sharing her gentle purrs. With her sweet nature and easygoing attitude, Betty would fit beautifully into many types of homes.Betty is on-site and available for introductions during open adoption hours. The adoption paperwork can be completed now with your new pet able to go home as soon as the spay/neuter procedure has been completed.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 816. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday.Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in.
