Meet Corn — yes, CORN … and yes, he’s just as entertaining as his name.This 1 year, 2 month old Labrador Retriever/Doberman Pinscher mix is 100% goofball and 0% actual vegetable (we checked). He’s a sweet, affectionate boy who may be a little shy at first, especially when it comes to getting leashed, where he might put it in reverse for dramatic effect. But once the leash is on, he’s ready to roll.Corn is a strong walker who likes to pull, and even a harness doesn’t slow down his enthusiasm for getting where he’s going. In the play yard, he’s all about the zoomies, happily running around before settling in to lean against you for pets and hand out free kisses. He knows “sit,” takes treats gently like a gentleman, and loves foraging for snacks like a little backyard detective. He’s also a fan of toys and enjoys wading in the pool like a true water-loving pro.When it’s time to leash back up, Corn may try to turn it into a game of “you can’t catch me,” showing off his playful, slightly mischievous side. With some patience, treats, and a little strategy, he comes around. He’s a smart cookie who just needs consistency and guidance to help him polish his manners.His former family reported that he is housebroken, rides well in the car, and has had some training already. He’ll benefit from continued training and structure to help him grow into his best self.Corn is the kind of dog who keeps life interesting—equal parts sweet, silly, and just a little bit chaotic.
