I may not be the kind of girl who runs up to greet every new person I meet, but if you're willing to give me a little time, I promise I'll show you just how special it feels to earn the trust of a shy dog.The people who know me best will tell you that underneath my timid exterior is a sweet, affectionate pup who loves to snuggle and simply be close to the people I love. Once I feel safe, my personality blossoms, and there's nothing I enjoy more than making my people smile.When I first arrived at the shelter as a stray, the world felt like a very scary place. I wasn't familiar with walking on a leash, and the busy shelter environment was overwhelming. I was so frightened that I barely wanted to eat. Thankfully, I was given the chance to move into a foster home, and that's where everyone started to see the real me.It turns out I'm a pretty smart cookie! I learned my daily routine quickly, mastered `sit` in no time, and I'm always excited to learn something new. I love positive encouragement and genuinely want to make my people proud. I'm still polishing my house manners and crate training, but I'm eager to keep learning with a family that's patient and consistent.One thing that gives me confidence is having another dog around. I absolutely love my canine friends, and they help me feel brave when I'm unsure about something new. Because of that, I'd really like a home with another friendly dog who can help show me that the world is full of good things.I've also lived with young children and done well, but I'll still need a family that understands I like to take introductions at my own pace. My perfect family will have previous experience with dogs and understand that trust isn't something you rush, it's something you build together.Because new people and places can still make me nervous, my family will need to meet me several times before I go home so we can get to kno
