Rescued from: Alabama Story: Bubba is doing great and really making himself at home. He says hi to all visitors by bringing them one of his toys and wags his tail until people pet him. So far we’ve had two big parties in the home and he’s been just fine, saying hi to everyone (he’s even great with kids) and playing in the yard with his toys. Bubba is mostly potty trained he will let you know if he needs to go. He’s crate trained and will even make it even easier for you if he knows there’s a treat waiting for him in the crate. Once he’s in, he falls asleep chewing on his high reward treats. He will do best with an active family that can give him plenty of exercise. He’s great on a leash and has good “come” and “sit” recall. We aren’t sure how he’ll do with cats, but he does love dogs! He’s still learning how to play and sometimes forgets how big he is, but with some training, he’ll make a fabulous family member. The fee to adopt Bubba is $475. That covers the cost of all his vaccines, his neuter, the collar he’s wearing, his transport to DC and his care in his foster home. He’s up to date on all age appropriate vaccines.
