Sanderson is waiting for you at Austin Boxer Rescue in Austin, TX 78761. Sanderson, AKA River, is our current longest stay at the ABR Kennel. He’s been with us since December 2025. He hasn’t been in a foster home yet, so all we’ve learned about him has been at the kennel. Sanderson is a medium sized boxer mix, confident in all situations, dominant with other dogs, high energy, and very athletic. He pulls very hard on the leash and would probably love to be a running companion. He loves all toys and likes to carry them around. He absolutely LOVES water. He’d also be a great water sport companion. He has a very goofy personality, does know some basic obedience, and also likes to play games with staff (like keep away).
