Stella is waiting for you at Mower County Humane Society in AUSTIN, MN 55912. Stella has now been waiting for a year. She came to the shelter on 7/24/2025 after she had been at the city pound for the legal hold time, but we had a little bit of background information about her. Her former owner called her Stella and she ended up at the pound due to the owner's living situation. Stella is around 3 years old and has a shepherd/husky look, but she could also be mixed with other breeds. She has an eye-catching almost solid gray coat and amber eyes. She has been fully vetted and microchipped and her fee is $150. Stella is pretty well mannered and very intelligent. She is the epitome of a canine princess and would prefer to be the only pet in the home. As beautiful as she is, she deserves that! She seems to have had a bit of basic training but would be willing to learn more. Being as she appears to be mixed with husky, she will require regular exercise and would benefit from a secure environment. We think older kids would be fine. Note: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
