About Yeti In Sc (Great Pyrenees) in Beacon, NY 12508

Yeti In Sc is waiting for you at National Great Pyrenees Rescue in Beacon, NY 12508. *** Check Out My Video Album Below! *** Meet Yeti, a sweet and playful Great Pyrenees who's ready to bring joy and to his forever home! This adorable pup has a beautiful medium-length, soft coat and a heart full of love for his people. Yeti is housebroken and crate trained, and he walks well on leash, though he may pull a bit around passing cars. He’d love a home in a quieter neighborhood, without lots of loud vehicles zooming by. He's already mastered "sit" and "down" and has great house manners. His foster describes him as a protective companion who would thrive in a quiet home without a lot of people who come in and out. He has a moderate activity level - he’s mostly a couch potato but does like to do zoomies in the yard and wrestle with his foster brother. Yeti gets along wonderfully with dogs - he loves to play and run with his foster siblings - and he's very gentle with cats, even enjoying a little playtime with the outdoor kitty, but mostly just ignores them. He is okay with strangers in public, including little kids (shows no interest), but is very protective of his home from new people. That said, he does much better with female visitors. Yeti enjoys being both inside and outdoors, but has an especially good time outside, where he can dig to his heart's content, and bark at cars and other passing excitement! He loves being brushed, getting ear scratches, and being hugged, even giving nibbles to ask for more attention! He is a pro at the Pyr Paw too, and makes happy noises when you rub his belly! He wants to hang out with you and will supervise anything you’re doing, or provide security detail if you’re working outside. This little foodie is a big fan of treats like cheese, bread, and pasta! Yeti will need a secure yard with a 4.5-foot fence, another dog to play with, and patient adopters who understand that digging and barking are part of his Pyr personality. If you're re
