Approx 4 years old Intake weight: 8.14 pounds Adoption fee: $250, which includes vetting, microchip Good with other dogs: yes Cats: unknown – we do not have cats to be able to test Vetting and other: altered (spayed),up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm negative, fecal negative, on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention, microchipped Health issues: none observed. Temperament: very sweet, quiet, gentle temperament Energy level: low Groom needs: medium maintenance; if she is in fact a Chinese Crested mix of some sort... her coat will be thin. The finder said she was heavily matted and they took care of that... but they didn't have a before picture, so we're not sure what her coat will be when grown out. Biography: Marcella was found at Ford Park in Shreveport on Saturday, 6/6/2026, under a slide. She was heavily matted and covered in fleas. We took her in, notified animal control, posted her in multiple groups on Facebook and on our page. No one came forward, so we had her vetted and now she's ready for her furever home! Marcella is very sweet, does fine in a kennel if needed, walks well on a leash and gets along great with other dogs and loves people.
