Maisy recently found herself in an overcrowded shelter in South Carolina after being adandoned by her previous family, left all alone, locked up in a crate after they had moved out. Sad and confused, Maisy didn't know what she did to deserve such heartbreak or if they were coming back… but Maisy was brave and recently made the trip up from SC to NY in search of her second chance. Now safe in foster, Maisy is learning the joys of being a young pup and living with a loving family.A real dogs dog, Maisy absolutely lights up around dogs and can't wait to be their friend. She would enjoy finding her forever home with a young canine companion or two that she can romp around with. A typical shepherd, she is smart, learns quickly and is food motivated. She already knows "sit", and can catch treats in the air. She’s young, active and always ready to go. She’s eager to please and connect with her people. All in all, Maisy a special girl with a lot of potential and so much to offer. We would love to find Maisy a forever home with a fenced in yard and an active family who will eagerly channel her zest for life and fun, preferably with prior breed experience.
