About Bonnie (Cattle Dog) in Canton, CT 06019

Bonnie is waiting for you at Dog Star Rescue in Canton, CT 06019. This sweet nugget of a dog is Bonnie, and she is working her magic charm to finding her forever family. She knows the right family is out there and she is patiently waiting. Bonnie is a young gal of around 6 months old and weighs around 23 pounds. She is a cattle dog mix breed, but when it comes to love there is no mixing it up because she is a full throttle loving kind of girl. Bonnie will certainly grow in the days ahead and our best estimate is that she will be a medium sized dog of anywhere up to 60 pounds when full grown. In the meantime, she has lots and lots of potential and fun memories to make with her family for a lifetime to come. Bonnie came into rescue with a shy demeanor. She was placed in a foster home with other confident dogs, and those dogs influenced her to find confidence within herself as she followed their lead. She is good with other dogs and children and would need another confident dog in her family that will help her over the threshold of her shyness so she can put it in the rearview mirror. She has not been exposed to cats since coming into rescue so her relationship with them is unknown at this time.Bonnie is working on her house, crate and leash training. Bonnie is putting her best paw forward and she knows she is going to make it to the finish line in a short amount of time. Bonnie is a gal for everyone. She will need a family that will help her in new situations and environments. Bonnie will need the space and time to adjust but the time and patience will pay off because she will be a wonderful and loving girl to have by your side every day and night. * When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Bonnie is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and
