Big-hearted Daisy2 needs a new forever home and family because her owner passed away and other family members were unable to offer her a home and family. But one look into her deep brown eyes, so full of love and good cheer as she gazes out at the world, means she is ready to give all her affection to the lucky folks who have room in their own hearts and home for a devoted companion.Daisy2 is a 4-year-old Labrador Retriever/mixed breed girl with a tan and cream-colored coat. She is fully grown at 37 pounds, making her a medium sized (41-60 pounds) canine. Fill a basket with toys, haul out the kiddie pool, or go to the beach, and watch Daisy2 have the time of her life playing and swimming with dogs and children who know how to have a good time. However, Daisy2 will need a home without cats.Daisy2 is already house trained and is working on her leash training. She is extremely toy motivated so any additional training will be successful so long as she can have plenty of fun. Although she is housetrained Rescue dogs may have accidents as they transition to a new home, so patience is also important. If crate training is planned, Daisy2 requires a crate that is big enough for her to turn around, stand in and lie down. Crates need to be warm welcoming places and must never be used for punishment. Throw a ball, play tug of war, maybe even get out there with a frisbee and some training treats and Daisy2 will be thrilled with her new best friends for fun and games before it is time to snuggle up for some love.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine.
