At just five months old, this handsome pup is already turning heads with his shiny black coat, intelligent brown eyes, and a curious, playful spirit that is beginning to blossom. Weighing in at about 40 pounds, Ruger still has some growing to do and will likely mature into a large dog of somewhere over 60 pounds.Ruger loves playing with other dogs and does wonderfully with children. He has not met any cats since coming into rescue, so his feline compatibility is still unknown.Like any young pup, Ruger is learning the ropes. He is currently working on crate training, house training, and walking politely on a leash.
