Crystal is waiting for you at TLC Animal Rescue in Cape May, NJ 08210. MEET CRYSTAL. 3 yr old. Located in Osteen, FL. Crystal is an approximately 3-year-old, 19 lb Mini Australian Shepherd mix who has made amazing progress since coming into rescue! She has already gained 2 pounds and continues to grow healthier and more confident every day. ❤️ Crystal is affectionate, smart, and playful once she trusts you. She loves playing tug with rope toys, nuzzles her stuffed lamb, enjoys swimming, and loves playing with her foster doggy siblings. She walks on a leash and knows sit, stay, down, and “go to bed,” and she's working on paw and waiting politely at the door. Crystal is definitely a picky eater but she's now eating a healthy diet of dry dog food topped with homemade fresh farm turkey and food toppers. Her current treat of choice? Freeze-dried beef liver only, please! Crystal is dog friendly, not cat friendly, and needs a home with older children only. She is also working on food resource guarding, and her adopter must be willing to continue her positive reinforcement training and management. This little girl has come SO far from the terrified dog we first brought into rescue. She's smart, learns quickly, and continues to show us more of her personality every day.
