He has spent the past six years as a devoted companion to his elderly owner, so he thrives in a calm environment and is well-mannered and potty-trained. Rescue gets along well with other dogs and does great with all adults, though his experience with children and cats is unknown. While he rides well in the car and enjoys outings, he could benefit from a bit more leash training to help him become the perfect walking buddy.
