I did a great job during my intake exam - I was sweet and friendly with staff. I hope you'll consider adopting me. I am a great dog.Insights from my foster friends and adventure buddies:`This gorgeous, meaty mini mama is the real deal. She is sweet and goofy, responsive to both treats and praise and I imagine would be to toys as well. We took a short walk near Wilson park, then hung out at my apartment. I gave her a peanut butter licky mat. She let me brush her, she’s shedding in this heat, and she eventually got comfortable enough to snuggle up on the couch. She saw our two cats through a baby gate and was totally non-reactive, I think she’d possibly get along with cats (with proper introductions)! She pulled some on the leash but I was her first doggy day out, I think she’d be easy to leash train.``She pulled on our walk, but she had good dog manners and took treats pretty gently. Most notable for me was how well she does in the car. No anxiety, just curls up in the back until we get where we're going (though it was only a short trip). No barking, and she responded to reactive dogs well.Kamar is such a sweetheart! She's well-behaved, loves getting pets and belly rubs, and is the perfect buddy for a walk or just hanging out and getting lots of love. We had an amazing time with her, and she had a smile on her face the whole time! We took Kamar on two short trail walks. At first, she pulled a little on the leash because she was excited, but she calmed down pretty quickly. She wasn't reactive to other dogs or people on the trails and was super friendly whenever someone came up to say hi. She was also great in the car and even took a nap on the way from our second trail to a dog-friendly brewery, where we hung out with her for a bit since we have dogs at home and couldn't bring her back to our apartment.
