I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I am so happy to be soaking up all the love from the volunteers. Now I'm ready to find a wonderful home of my own with a family to love and be loved by! I came in heartworm positive, but I'll be treated for that soon and I hope to be with my new family before treatment starts. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and was reactive towards them, so I would like to be your only doggie, please. / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The volunteers describe me as friendly, active, fun, and super sweet. I’m a delightful dog who enjoys being close to people - I even crawled right into a lap while sitting outside on a rock! I was very tolerant during my bath and ear cleaning, even resting my head on a towel during my rinse and towel-off. I’m a sweet, calm soul with a bit of an energetic side, too, and I may sometimes bark when I see people or other dogs while out on walks. / Energy level: 5-7 though I’ll need to stay a bit calmer until I’ve completed my heart worm treatment and rest period. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘leave It’, ‘drop it’, and ‘place’ commands as well as greeting friendly strangers without jumping on them. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / I’m doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. / I’ve been having accidents on the shelter schedule, so I’ll need my new family to finish my potty training. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I enjoy spending time with the nice volunteers and learning new things through training - I’m a smart
