Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control and I’m sure happy they did! I’m now ready to find my furever family to love! I also got to spend some time in the prison/foster training program and learned a lot! I’m currently in a great foster home while I wait for my furever family to find me. My foster mom says my adopters will totally "hit the jackpot" with me — could that be you? • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met some other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them! When I first meet new dogs, I might come across as dominant, but I quickly adjust to play mode. If you have a nice doggie at home already, let’s meet! / My foster reports that I am good with their male and female cats. / I met kids at Mostly Mutts that were around 10 years old, as well as a 7-year-old whom I gave kisses to on a day trip with my foster, and I liked them, but I did some guarding in my temporary home, so dog-savvy kids 15+ may be a better match for me, let’s meet with my trainer. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I arrived a bit unsure of new people, and we learned that I like to know that I can trust you and then we’ll be good friends. It only took a day for that in the prison foster/training program. I LOVE my people a lot and guard them a bit when a stranger comes into the home, but if I know them, I’ve been alright. I’ve worked on this in the prison/foster training program, and we have found it helpful that I meet new people outside of my space/home, so doing this in my new home is recommended. Since settling into my foster home and building trust with my foster mom, I’m now able to meet strangers more often and with greater ease. I have a few close friends (neighbors) in our neighborhood that I look forward to greeting each day on my walks. I’d like a dog-savvy family, and I would not do well in a home wi
