A friend told me it's a sign of working dog . A complete stranger could Walk up to Lilly hand her a ball and she would accept them . That's how I introduce her to others. Being a Shepherd she is very protective. I take her for walks on the Antietam battlefield the closer we get to cars people or dogs the more anxious she gets to the point that I avoid confrontation. She listens to me but I just don't trust her and I have grandkids and friends and just can't risk it anymore." Lilly's guardian explains why he has made the difficult decision to rehome him: "I don't trust her that she won't commit another bite or someone or another dog or animal, especially when I'm not around."
