Back Story Reggie was found roaming in the desert by an animal control officer and taken to a veterinarian for care and adoption—but instead, he spent over a year neglected in a 4×6 outdoor pen. When transferred to Pets Return Home, he arrived 30 pounds underweight with sores on his legs and paws, caked eyes and ears, several dog bites, and no vaccinations or neuter. He was hand-shy and extremely anxious, barking constantly and reacting fearfully to dogs. Over the next year, Reggie received medical care, training, and patient rehabilitation. His transformation has been remarkable—he now greets new people warmly, listens attentively, enjoys snuggles, loves walks, and engages confidently with dogs.
