This handsome boy wants nothing more than to be the center of your world—soaking up your affection and offering his whole heart in return. Around here, Taz is known for giving constant love, and smooches to the people he trusts. His favorite things are simple: eating meals in his crate, running free, exploring the ranch, getting attention from his humans, and hunting for lizards. He spends his days outside with 20 other dogs on our 7-acre campus and has learned to be accepting and highly tolerant, even around some of our most rambunctious rowdies. Taz will thrive in a calm, consistent home that is more peaceful than chaotic, and without small animals. He has excellent house manners, a fun sense of humor, and a sweet, snuggly side that comes out when he feels relaxed and safe. He is crate-trained, leash-familiar, eager to please, and happiest when he knows what is expected of him. Taz has been with Pets Return Home since 2020, working on his manners and socialization challenges. Today, he is ready to graduate to the loving home he has waited so long for. Back Story: Taz came from a home in Kansas where several dogs were living together in unstable conditions. He lacked early socialization, and when he ended up in the shelter, he was automatically slated for euthanasia due to his breed. The shelter reached out to Pets Return Home, and we took him in before his time ran out. One of over 1200 we have saved from euthanasia.
