Luna is waiting for you at Saving Pyrs In Need in Dallas, TX 75206. Meet Luna! She is a calm, friendly, gentle female Great Pyrenees. Estimated to be around 1-2yrs old, currently at a healthy weight of 75lbs. She is all white with a few tan patches. Luna was found as a stray and remained at a shelter for months, she was then put on the euthanasia list simply due to the shelter running out of space. That's when we heard about her and were able to step in and bring her into SPIN Rescue. Luna LOVES people. She is extremely friendly with everyone and will instantly become your best friend. She is very affectionate and will crawl right into your lap. When she is happy she will roll onto her back and kick all her legs up, she will also do that when you ask her to 'do the Luna dance'. She gets so excited when her foster family comes home she does fully body wiggles and squinty eyes. She is a goofball, her foster family affectionally calls her Looney Tunes or Loons. We haven't seen her around kids but think she would do well with them given her friendly, calm, gentle demeanor. Same goes for babies and seniors. She is great with dogs and very friendly. She will play some but mostly just likes to lounging around with them. She is good at the dog park and with the male and female large dogs in her foster home, she is friendly and tolerant. At the shelter, she did well when kenneled with a female Pyr for a bit. She hasn't shown much interested in toys but does love to play. She plays very gently and respectfully. She has low to moderate energy levels, she likes to do a morning walk then spend rest of the day relaxing and napping. She enjoys doing perimeter laps and occasionally barking. She does well on a leash and walks great. She is very receptive when told not to pull. She is also great in the car and will jump right in. She is potty trained, never had an accident inside and goes to the back door when she wants to be let out. She will even go if you tell her
