Masaru (A142654) is a 15-week-old Akita who weighed 37 pounds on intake! 07/07/26 This big boy is Masaru! Masaru arrived at the shelter as a stray and is now looking for his new place to call home! He was initially pretty scared, but warmed up quickly to the staff and the routine at the shelter. We encourage his next owner to continue providing him with his positive socialization to help him succeed! He’s going to be a large dog, so this is very important in his early development. In typical puppy fashion, Masaru will need continued help with potty training, kennel training, and basic commands. We do not know if he has experience with children or other pets.
