Dale is a gentleman during grooming and happily sits nicely while being brushed or pampered. When it’s playtime, he’ll proudly show off his “frisbee skills”… though calling him the Frisbee King might be a bit generous. His enthusiasm is much stronger than his catching ability, which only adds to his charm. One of Dale’s favorite pastimes is keeping a watchful eye on the household guinea pig. He’s more curious than anything and enjoys supervising from a respectful distance. On walks, Dale has good leash manners overall, but if he spots another furry friend, his excitement can get the best of him. He’ll appreciate a family that’s happy to continue practicing his leash skills. Dale has an interesting way of making friends—he often does better meeting other dogs without a fence between them. Barrier frustration can make introductions a little more challenging, so thoughtful, controlled meet-and-greets set him up for success. Around new people, Dale is continuing to build his confidence, especially when he’s in an environment where he already feels comfortable.
