He was originally adopted from us a few years ago and recently returned through no fault of his own when his family had to move. If you're looking for a fun-loving companion to keep you active, River is ready for the job! He loves going for walks and runs, playing fetch, and spending time outdoors exploring the world around him. He's very observant and enjoys taking in everything happening around him, making every outing an adventure. At home, River is just as happy relaxing. One of his favorite places to unwind is stretched out on the patio furniture, soaking up the sunshine. He's also a very affectionate boy who loves putting his paw on your arm to ask for a little extra attention. A sweet reminder that he'd love to be by your side. River's previous family describes him as energetic, loving, intelligent, and full of personality. He can be vocal when he's trying to tell you he needs something, and he has an enthusiastic habit of jumping when he's excited, so continued training and consistency will help him be the best companion he can be. He's housebroken and has done well living with adults and children ages 2 and older. While he can be selective with other dogs, a dog-to-dog introduction is recommended if you already have a canine companion. He has never lived with cats. River has so much love, loyalty, and fun to offer.
