She enjoys slow sniffy walks and hikes, especially in the woods, as well as playing in the backyard by herself and with you. She is currently mastering the 'fetch' and 'leave it' commands, and despite a previous hip surgery will jump for a tennis ball every time you throw it. It doesn't slow her down at all. If you're working on the computer, she wants nothing more than to lay at your feet. Mariposa is great with kids, and is selective about cats and dogs, living harmoniously with them if they are laid back. She is very smart and highly trainable, responding well to positive reinforcement and treats.
