Meet Betsy!After raising her four puppies—Franklin, Lincoln, Liberty, and Glory—it's finally Betsy's turn to find a family of her own.Betsy is a gentle, easygoing, 2-year-old hound mix who is happy to let you take the lead. Whether she's riding in the car, heading out for a walk, or relaxing on the couch, she's simply happy to spend time with her people. She has wonderful house manners and settles into a home routine with ease, especially in a calm, quiet environment.Volunteers describe Betsy as incredibly easygoing, and it's easy to see why. She enjoys getting out for adventures but is just as content spending a cozy evening at home. While new experiences may make her pause to take everything in, she gains confidence quickly and is an adaptable companion.Betsy has done well meeting other dogs and could do well with a calm canine companion who likes to play gently, then settle in for a much-earned nap. She does require formal cat testing before going to a home with feline friends. She has been very happy to spend time with polite young children. Betsy is ready to enjoy the next chapter of her life.
