He is waiting patiently for an extra special adopter who will truly give him the adequate time and patience to come out of his shell and shine! Boomer is skittish and timid when first meeting people and because of this, he will need more of a chance than the typical one or several "meet and greets" allow. In his foster home, it took Boomer around 4-6 weeks to feel comfortable enough to let his guard down and his adorable personality to emerge - and trust us, he was worth the wait! Boomer is just asking for a chance - he needs calm, patience, extra kindness, and extra time for him to learn that he is safe and loved. They are affectionate with their people but can be wary of strangers but warm up quickly.
