Brownie is a "slow and steady" specialist looking for a patient human who understands that the best things in life take time. Once he feels safe, his timid exterior fades away to reveal a loyal, loving companion who just wants to be near you. He actually gets a major confidence boost from other pups, so a friendly canine roommate would be the perfect "hype man" to help him come out of his shell. Since he’s a dedicated peace-and-quiet enthusiast, Brownie is looking for a "No-Kid Zone." He’s dreaming of a mature, child-free home where the only thing he has to worry about is which spot on the couch is the sunniest. If you’ve got a quiet heart and a calm home, Brownie is waiting to show you just how sweet life can be. All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption.
