Affectionately known as "Bugs," this sweet boy loves nothing more than snuggling up with his favorite people after a day of fun. Rugsby enjoys going on hikes, playing, and spending quality time with his family. He's a smart pup who already knows an impressive list of tricks, including sit, lay down, speak, roll over, stay, and paw. He's also potty trained and will let you know when it's time to head outside. He's been around kids of all ages and has done wonderfully with them, making him a great fit for many different families. As a bonus, Rugsby absolutely loves being brushed, so grooming time is just another chance for him to soak up attention. If you're searching for a loyal, well-mannered companion who's ready for adventures, cuddles, and a lifetime of love, Rugsby is waiting to meet you! All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals or how large puppies will be when fully grown.
