I came to Mostly Mutts along with another dog when we both needed new homes. I’m in a wonderful foster home soaking up all the love and attention from my foster family and I heard them say that I’m now ready to find a family of my own. I think that is the best news ever! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I came to Mostly Mutts with another dog, and my dog friends are still something I’m figuring out. I didn’t do well with the dogs I met at Mostly Mutts, and I can be barky at other dogs when I first see them, though I calm down if they don’t bark back. I do best with calm, easygoing dogs, as I may not be the best match for a dog who is also very vocal or excitable. In my foster home, I get along with the other foster dog, although I can sometimes get a little jealous and may need a reminder about sharing attention. I also met my foster family’s daughter’s large dog, and after an initial greeting, we did well together—I think his calm personality helped. If you have a very calm, non-jealous dog at home, let’s meet and see if we’re a good match! Of course, I’d be very happy to be your only dog as well. / Cats unknown. / I’ve met a 7-year-old child and was very barky and excited, though we’re not sure if it was good excitement or uncertainty. I’d likely do best with calm, older children such as 10+ who can give me the time and space I need to feel comfortable. Let’s meet and see if we’re a good fit and best no very young kids as I’m very small! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: At the shelter, the nice volunteers described me as sweet, friendly, and a little shy. I was scared when I first arrived and would shake until I felt safe, but my loving personality quickly started to shine through. Everyone thought I was a doll baby and just the sweetest girl.
