Jasmine is a 3-year-old Yorkie mix weighing in at a perfect 16 pounds. This sweet girl may be a little shy when she first meets new people, but once she feels comfortable, her loving personality shines through. Jasmine is a complete love bug who enjoys affection, companionship, and simply being near her people. She has a calm, laid-back nature and would thrive in a home that offers the same peaceful and loving environment. Jasmine gets along wonderfully with all of her foster siblings and seems to make friends with just about everyone she meets. When Jasmine came into rescue, she had a limp in one of her back legs. X-rays revealed an old fracture that healed incorrectly, but don't let that worry you—it doesn't slow her down one bit! She gets around just fine and enjoys life to the fullest. Jasmine also tested positive for heartworms. She is currently being treated using the slow-kill protocol, and the rescue will provide everything her adopter needs to complete her treatment. Her new family will have the support and resources necessary to ensure she continues on the path to a healthy future.
