Skye – Female Great Pyrenees Age: ~2 yearsWeight: ~65 lbsSpayed: YesCoat: Thick double coat, primarily whiteActivity Level: Calm companion with guardian instincts Overview Skye is a sweet, affectionate female Great Pyrenees who has been part of our family since May/June 2025. She has a gentle, people-oriented temperament and enjoys being close to her humans. She displays many of the calm, observant traits typical of guardian breeds and does best with predictable routines and clear expectations.This rehoming decision has been made with care. While Skye is a wonderful dog, she requires a different household setup and more specialized training than we are able to provide. We believe she would thrive with an experienced owner familiar with guardian breeds. She and our other dog spend hours together outside without any aggression, and she has not shown dog-to-dog aggression in other settings, including at her pet sitter’s home where other dogs are present. This suggests her behavior is related to indoor environment or household dynamics rather than generalized aggression. Cats: Lives with cats and ignores them completely. People: Very affectionate and loving with adults. Children: Does well with children. She regularly stays with a pet sitter who has a 9-year-old, and she interacts
