Cadbury is waiting for you at Underdog Rescue MN in Minneapolis, MN 55416. Cadbury is a darling little Frenchie/Pug mix with a soft, sensitive heart and the cutest playful streak. She may be a bit cautious when first meeting new people or entering new situations, but give her a little time and you’ll see her true personality shine. Once she feels safe, Cadbury turns into a snuggly, affectionate companion who loves to curl up close, play with her toys, and zoom around the yard with pure joy. She’s a fun mix of sweet and silly, one minute she’s your quiet little shadow, and the next she’s showing off her goofy side with zoomies or a game of fetch. Cadbury loves exploring outside and would be happiest in a home where she can safely enjoy the outdoors at her own pace. She is both leash trained and crate trained, and she already knows “sit.” She has a genuine desire to please and is continuing to build confidence and learn her manners with gentle, patient guidance. Because she’s still figuring out the world, Cadbury can get a little jumpy or mouthy when she’s nervous or excited, so she’ll do best with an adopter who can continue working with her in a calm, positive way. She can also be sensitive to loud noises and busy environments, so a quieter home will help her feel secure and allow her personality to fully blossom. She is sensitive to extreme heat and cold, so her future home should be mindful of keeping her comfortable in all seasons. Cadbury does not require another dog in the home, but she thrives on human connection and will happily bond closely with her people. She’s equal parts lap dog and playful pup — affectionate, curious, and full of puppy energy with a gentle, loving core. Cadbury is a sweet little soul who just needs a bit of patience and understanding to become someone’s perfectly devoted companion.
