She is good with other dogs, and people. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful.Hi! My name is Honeysuckle, but my foster calls me Honey because, once you know me, I'm as sweet as can be.I'm a young Golden Retriever mix with a gentle heart and a sensitve soul. I'm not your typical "everyone is my best friend" Golden. New people and unfamiliar situations can be scarey for me, so I need a family that understands I'll take a little time to settle in. Once I trust you, you'll see my goofy, affectionate Golden personality shine through- with plenty of belly rub requests!One thing you will never have to question is how much I love other dogs. I do best with playful, confident but respectful canine friends who can show me the ropes and help me feel safe. Because of this, I must have another playful and confident dog in my forever home. Wrestling, chasing each other around the yard and house or stealing toys so my friends will chase me back are some of my favorite games. My foster says I often purr when I play, especially with other dogs, so don't be alarmed. I also need a securely fenced yard where I can safely zoom, sunbathe, patrol as an honorary member of the Neighborhood Watch and simply enjoy the outdoors. Invisisble fences, long lines, GPS or e-collars aren't the right fit for me. I'm fast, energetic and happiest with a physical fence. While I love other dogs, a dog park will not be appropriate for me while I adjust. Although I am a Texas Girl, I discovered I absoluetly love snow! Rain doesn't bother me either, but thunder and fireworks? Those are pretty scarey.I'm active and playful, but I'm equally happy relaxing outside or curling up to my people after a fun day.
